FRONT GARDEN – ELEGANT, LOW-MAINTENANCE KERB APPEAL
The front garden was redesigned to create a smart, welcoming entrance that is easy to maintain and complements the property’s architecture.

FRONT GARDEN FEATURES
· Kandla Grey porcelain paving (3.8m²) laid in a stretcher bond pattern with resin grout for a smooth, durable and non-slip finish.
· Paving framed with Lugano clay pavers and two matching porcelain steps leading up to the front door for a clean, contemporary look.
· Bespoke brick wall built with Kandla Grey sandstone cladding and porcelain coping stones, adding structure, security and style.
· Polar Ice® gravel installed over a weed-suppressing membrane to create a neat, permeable surface that stays low-maintenance.
Considered front garden planting scheme including Hydrangea, Salvia, Rosa ‘White’, · Lavandula (lavender) and structured Euonymus hedging for year-round form, colour and scent.

This design boosts kerb appeal while remaining practical for busy London living.

REAR GARDEN – CONTEMPORARY COURTYARD-STYLE SPACE
· The rear garden was completely renovated to create a calm, modern outdoor living area for relaxing and entertaining. The layout focuses on clean lines, layered planting and a strong central paved space.

REAR GARDEN HARD LANDSCAPING
· 27.3m² of honed Kandla Grey paving laid with priming slurry and resin grout to form a central courtyard-style seating and dining area.
· Large raised railway sleeper planter (4.28m x 0.6m x 0.6m), lined and filled with enriched compost to support lush planting.
· Slatted trellis fencing was added above existing boundary walls to improve privacy while allowing light and airflow.
· Wall restoration, including ivy removal, crack repairs and sealant application to protect and preserve the original brickwork.

REAR GARDEN PLANTING DESIGN
The planting scheme was designed to feel green, textural and slightly tropical, while remaining suitable for a London garden.

· Hydrangea frame to soften boundaries and provide generous summer flowers.
· Salvia ‘Amistad’ and white roses for long-season colour and pollinator interest.
· Musa basjoo, Fatsia and Phoenix to create bold, architectural foliage and a subtropical feel.
· Phyllostachys nigra (black bamboo) and Chamaerops humilis for height, movement and evergreen structure.
· Ornamental grasses to add texture and softness throughout the year.

The result is a private, enclosed rear garden with a lush, layered planting scheme and a generous, practical terrace.

INTEGRATED GARDEN LIGHTING – SMART & ATMOSPHERIC
To extend the garden's use into the evenings, we designed and installed a full outdoor lighting system that can be controlled via smart devices.

LIGHTING DESIGN INCLUDES
· 6m LED strip light fitted along the base of the rear wall to wash light diagonally up the brickwork.
· 5m LED strip light installed beneath the raised planter ledge to create a subtle, indirect glow around the seating area.
· Two RGBIC LED wall downlights on the rear boundary wall, providing adjustable ambient lighting and colour options.
· Two dimmable spike lights are placed within the planter to highlight key plants and add depth at night.
· All lighting is fully compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant and Matter, allowing app and voice control for convenience.

This combination of hard landscaping, planting and intelligent garden lighting creates a space that is as beautiful at night as it is during the day.
